"Having spent over 45 years in the meat industry, I've seen firsthand how much talent, dedication and innovation women bring to food and drink, yet their contributions haven't always received the recognition they deserve. As a father, employer and Master Butcher, I've been incredibly proud to watch my daughter Amy receive recognition through these awards. Programmes like the Women in Food & Drink Awards are so important because they celebrate achievements, challenge stereotypes and inspire future generations. I'd encourage everyone to nominate the exceptional women in their businesses and networks. Recognition can make a difference to someone's confidence and career."
