Part of The Qs family, organisers of the UK Quality Food & Drink Awards and the Ireland Quality Food & Drink Awards, the Women in Food & Drink Awards aim to recognise and applaud the accomplishments and positive contributions women make across the food and drink industry.
If you are someone, or know someone who is dedicated to championing gender balance and creating a more diverse and inclusive industry, now is the time to submit one or more nominations.
- The awards are open to women working in any role across the food & drink industry in the UK and Ireland including, but not limited to:
- Leadership/Strategy
- Buying/Procurement
- Category Management
- Merchandising
- Product Development & Innovation
- Food Manufacturing
- Distribution & Logistics
- Sales & Account Management
- Marketing & Brand
- Foodservice Operations
- Hospitality Operations
- Drinks Manufacturing
- HR & Administration - Nominees may also work in roles supporting the industry, such as:
- Sustainability Consulting
- Packaging
- Procurement
- Project Management -
Individuals are required to
nominate
a colleague or themselves which is the first stage of the process, with a brief explanation for their nomination
- Up to 3 nominations per individual are permitted

Once the
nomination
period has closed, individuals will be invited to
submit a formal entry into the awards
- Entries can be made in up to 3 categories only per individual

Nominations are open to individuals who:
- Identify exclusively as women; and
- Are publicly and professionally recognised as women within their industry or sector
- Certain categories may be open to all genders; where this applies, it will be clearly stated in the category description

The process is quick and easy - submit a nomination today for a colleague or industry peer in the sector. You can nominate them in up to 3 categories.
Please don’t use AI to write your nominations. The strongest nominations are personal, specific and authentic.
Please note: a nomination is not an entry. Once the initial nomination process has closed, all nominees will be invited to submit an entry into the award categories they have been nominated for. Nominees will have 6 weeks to submit their formal entry. Find out more here.
