Women in the Food Industry
Women in the Food Industry's mission is to empower women, shine a spotlight on what they are doing for the UK food industry and build a community of women who give each other support, confidence and strength. Led by co-founder, Mex Ibrahim, with the valuable help of Ambassafors including Antonia Lloyd and Shelley Sofier, they all share the heart-felt belief that collaboration is better than competition and welcome the support of both men and women to support their aims.
Women in the Food Industry became a Community Interest Company (CIC) on 18 Juky 2023 and doesn't exist to make a profit - they work towards a purpose, reinvesting any surplus money into achieving their goal.
