"I am excited to be a judge for The Women in Food & Drink Awards this year. The organisation masterminded by the brilliant Laura Ryan, Mea tBusiness Women recently launched its ‘Food Business Charter’ which aims for 40% female representation in the sector by 2035. Awards like #WIFDA help support this aim by showcasing all the fantastic women working in the sector and the roles available in the food and drink industry."

Katie is CEO of The International Meat Trade Association, a role she took on in 2019 after joining IMTA back in 2012. Katie holds a Diploma in World Customs Compliance and Regulations with The Chartered Institute of Export (CIoE). Katie is a graduate from The London School of Economics (LSE) with a BA International History. Katie won the 2023 Women in Meat award in the Trade Organisation category, in 2023 was recognised in the top 100 most influential women in the inaugural Trade Association Forum 'Women in Trade Associations Power list' and in 2024 won the Meat Management 'Excellence Award'.
